funnily enough one of lads used to date my sisters best friend when we were younger (i was like 8 or 9)

a few years ago we met at the ice t concert and laz-e told him who i was and he asked me if i remember so and so...which i did because i remember her being super fine and he reminded me who he was and ha...we knew eachother years and didnt even know.

Remember Scay Eire on BBC's Def II being interviewed by Lisa I'Anson?

^ Was that not on Dance Energy? Def 2 was the name of the segment ran from 6-7 with Fresh Prince on First. Mark Kavanagh and Tim "Mr Spring" Hennigan were on it too.
Footage of Ri-Ra rapping in Hennigan's studio?

What was that RTE show they were on once? Low budget late night type thing set in a studio that looked like a house and they were doing "Dole Q" in the sitting room?

DEF II was like it's own network on BBC2 with different shows like A-Z of belief and rough guide.
It might have been called dance energy I just remember Lisa. It was before she was on MTV

I think it was Rapido with the French lad from Eurotrash

Yeah it was on Dance Energy I'm pretty sure. I used to have every episode on tape. I think that was the first I'd heard of Scary Eire, either that or that little tape they had out that had Roam on it. Me and my mates phoned the studio Radio Activ Records and Tim Hennigan used to mail me out tapes, thats where I got all those DLR Sessions and Demos and live performances etc.

They played my Shadow of a Gunman on DLR back then but not Tim's show

Can't remember name but I recall it set around temple bar I think, used be presented by Brian Reddan. That particular episode had spoken word artist/poet Maighread Meabh and MC Tyson (ballymun) (i think). It also had scary eire. I remember a great interview with mek and willie forde in the corridor talking about their different approach to hip hop. I don't think Reddan was too comfortable with the interview.

I met her in The Castle then when she done the House of Pain show with Scary Eire in 92.

I was talking to her and then a mad fight broke out right behind us, it was mental.

I was on Joe Maxi too. That was when Dave Fanning was gettin in trouble with the Branch and the Guards for playing Cop Killer and I was asked how I felt about a song and for no reason said I would rather listen to Bodycount.(wha a Rebel haw!)

But anyway I meant to say I didn't think you were that old, that makes sense now.
