A couple of years ago U.I. were doing a show with Correkt Minds in The Baldy Man in Tramore...someone introduced us out in the beer garden afterwards...had a good chat with him and he gave me a copy of his demo...only found it again recently while going thru a box of old cd's to convert to .flac...was looking for more of his stuff on YouTube and eventually got to this forum and this tribute page.

Only met him that one time but I thought he was a really nice guy and enjoyed talking to him and having a laugh. As far as his music goes...it's hard to find enough good things to say about someone who had the balls to rap at a time (not so long ago) when an Irish person rapping was considered laughable. He lent a lot of credibility to the Irish Hip-Hop genre with the honesty in his lyrics and he was a true pioneer (along with Collie and a very select few others) who no doubt inspired other people in this country to pick up a mic and have a go...that truly is a great legacy for such a short life.

I hope he is never forgotten and I hope anyone who finds success in Irish Hip-Hop gives him a shout out to remind future generations of his contribution.
