i thought rtas was specifically the protools format for plugins? i dont have protools so cant tell you for sure though

is it? i av an mbox and a got pro tools free with it so im usin it instead of fl studio...i just want to know for sure b4 i spend a €100+ on vst/plug in pack and then find out it dosent work...recession n'al that Laughing

no ableton is a fully fledged production environment, you will not need an external keyboard or drum machine, although you may want to purchase a MIDI controller.

these days you can start with a good pc or mac and software i.e. cakewalk, soundforge, acid that is what i use check me at

Get a real good PC, a midi controller and a turntable for hardware then use FL or acid to sequence or cakewalk. Soundforge to cut samples then vets for sounds

I use ableton and haven't looked back since! By far the most diverse program out there, you can adapt it to suit your style of producing, highly reccomend it!!
