The purpose of this battle is to help raise the standard of DJ Competitions in Ireland and help nurture a scene that can compete internationally. It is open to any DJ from any part of Ireland of any musical preference. The point of the battle is to help DJ’s push each other in creating new styles, perfecting new or old skills and crushing competition!!!

Over the past 10 years worldwide, DJ Battles like these have appeared in countries all over the world and have spawned many a great DJ and are great platforms for talented DJ’s/Turntablists/Producers to gain instant recognition locally and sometimes even globally, depending on the standard of the competition.

As for the punter, these are great nights to attend as the reaction of the crowd is extremely important in deciding the final outcome. The night will be a very similar format to the DMC’s last August, with the competition being followed by a Choice Cuts After Party so expect the night to be another classic!!!!!

Competitors must have there names registered by Feb 28th!!!!

Competitors from Nothern Ireland are more then welcome as it is an ALL Ireland Battle, but remember the eliminators are in MONO, the afternoon of the Final, so take a day off work, school in order to avoid complications on the day
