Saturday March 24th sees the natural alliance of drum and
bass and hip-hop with the BACK 2 BACK special at Isaac Butts.Basscape
are very proud to present a collection of some of the finest DJs
Dublin has to offer.A line up which includes a DMC winner,two RSR
college champions and five DMC finalists all playing under one roof
and all playing BACK 2 BACK.This unique event is the first of it’s
kind in Dublin and promises to be a cracker.Spread over three rooms
and with a range of styles so diverse that even the most fussy of
music lovers will be satisfied,this night has all the ingredients.
It’s the sheer talent on show however which makes this night so
special.We believe that a DJ should be an entertainer rather than a
mere provider of the Saturday night soundtrack,so with this mentality
in mind we bring you a night of high quality Djing which no doubt
will leave the crowd begging for more.

Looking after the drum and bass side of things are the
Basscape duo of Kormac and Rosko.Their fresh approach to drum and
bass Djing has won them many admirers recently and they have promised
an ambitious set on three decks and two mixers.Watch this space.The
imitatable duo of Rohan and Naphta also preside.Between them they’ve
done so much for the Irish drum and bass scene and no doubt their
loyal followers won’t be let down.Kenny and Keevo’s dancefloor beats
will go down a treat while on a jazzier tip Resolution main man Razor
completes the bill.

The turntablist room reads like a who’s who? of Irish hip-
hop.Mayhem and Splyce are two DJs currently on the up and up.Mayhem’s
group Creative Control have been earing rave reviews and recently
rocked the Red Box in support of the Pharcyde.Splyce recently beat
off stiff competition at Isaac Butts to become the new RSR college
champion.This duo won’t dissappoint.Former DMC champion Glen Brady
(AKA DJ Wool) has been around for a while and he teams up with Nifty
Fingaz to showcase their undisputed talent.Completing the hip-hop
bill are Tu-Ki and Mark Murphy.Best friends and boasting extensive
record collections.These two are sure to bring the funk.The turntable
room will have four decks and three mixers so expect something
special on the night.

The middle room conists of Arveene,Graham O`Sullivan and
Lorcan Bradshaw on a more eclectic tip.
